Earle is a native New Yorker. While born and raised in New York City, the East Coast blend comes from having lived in Brooklyn, Harlem and Queens. Earle is by far, a true artist in every sense of the word. Having graduated from NYC’s High School of Art & Design, and having studied at NYC’s School of Visual Art, Earl developed a vast appreciation for the Arts that has transcended into a lifelong passion and support of The Arts. Inspired by artists such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Keith Haring and Jackson Pollock, his works include acrylic, water color, pen & ink, found objects and digital program paintings. A self-described Abstract Expressionist Painter, he is currently working on a series of paintings for an exhibition .
Earle is very inspired in his current role as Program Director and the Mid-day On-Air personality (WRBO FM Memphis). Earle's iconic entertainment career also includes being an Air Personality on Smooth Jazz 98.9, and an historic role of being the 1st DJ on air when Soul Classics 103.5 premiered in 1998. Having a true appreciation for the musically gifted, his favorite artists are Sade and Parliament/Funkadelic. With a diverse taste in music, he is also a fan of Michael Jackson, Kanye West, Isaac Hayes, Babyface, Al Green, Luther Vandross, The Beatles, Peabo Bryson, Jay-Z, Kirk Whalum and Anita Baker.
In addition to music, some of Earle’s favorites are: The Wire (tv show), Judge Judy (guiltiest pleasure), Mo’ Better Blues (movie), Favorite Quotes: “Do what you love and you’ll love what you do.” “The future is filled with the promise of infinite possibilities.” The Happiest moments in Earle’s life can be traced to the birth of each of his children: Jon, Daniel & Alexandra .
